This weekend was pretty busy ! I went to a "Hat-Party" on Friday which was lots of fun ! My two friends Emma and Sofia had their combined birthday party ! On Saturday it was the big event called "culture night " when it's a lot of live performances EVERYWHERE downtown and it's for free ! Musical performances, dance, theatre, art and such ! It's pretty fun, It's mostly local bands playing but also from other towns and countries actually.
And today was, as said before, my Grandmom's birthday, so we celebrated her all day ! FUN day !

I've started a painting for my brother ! It's gonna be a combination of action painting and abstract foremost I think ! I'm excited ! Unfortunately I've run out of black color ! As you can see, i've used quite a lot ...


The painting looks much smaller on the picture than irl ! It's around 100cm X 70 cm !

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM !

Today is my mom's birthday ! A big happy birthday to youuu !!!
We're gonna celebrate her tonight. we've had friends over today for fika but tonight we're gonna give her the presents ! hoho

The show last night WAS SO MUCH FUN !! And it went REALLY well actually ! I was surprisingly calm throughout the whole day, I wasn't nervous at all ! That is VERY unlike me, before I'm going on stage or whatever kind of performance I have to do in front of a crowd ! hmm..But it all went well so I'm happy ! I even got to do the funny flashmob a bunch of dancers did a couple of weeks ago downtown. We were all supposed to do it at the end of the show so my friend Emma taught me the whole thing during all the extra time we had just sitting around waiting for our turn to go on stage! F U N !

I'm not sure I'll post the performance 'cause the video had such a poor quality, it was over exposed some how..but I'll come up with something !

THE ACADEMY OF BALLET PRESENTS: FLASHBACKS TMRW AT 5.30 PM !

whoho..I'm actually very excited ! It is going to be so much fun ! I'm basically gonna spend the entire day at the venue. My group are gonna set the light for the performance around 10 am and the schedule will run pretty tight after that (meaning: I want to glance at everyone else's performances mohaha) and of course we will do a final rehearse before the actual show and so on!

I've received TWO extremely good news this past week ! And I am SO excited I can't even contain myself ! More updates will probably come later !

If all goes well tmrw I will try and put a video up here on the blog of my performance..soo fingers crossed ! I'm gonna get a good night's sleep and then I'm gonna wake up early in the best of moods and head straight to the venue for lots of preparations !

It's my mom's birthday on Sunday as well ! told you May was a superbusy birthday month !!! hoho

oooh, I should be in bed already, but in fact, I AM..sitting in my bed With the laptop ! whoa..but y'all know I mean be asleep by this hour. ! I've been working on stuff though, and that has been keeping me awake for too long now..arts and crafts goodies.

Tmrw (Meaning today) I will finally have a dance class again. We had an easter break two weeks ago and I was unfortunately sick last week and therefore unable to participate ..dammit. But now I'm BACK ON TRACK ! And boy will I dance ! I think it's only two practices left before the show..oopsie..But I feel pretty comfortable with the steps so it should go alright...

My weekend was filled with good company, delicious (own made) food and partying. Plus a jazz concert. All in honour of celebrating the first of may as in tradition !

Monday, tell me why I don't like mondays ..

I have a big cup of coffee in front of me, I just had fresh baked cinnamon rolls and the sun is out and makes it all warm and lovely ! So what's WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?? Yes, I've still got the STUPID COLD ! I want to be able to be outdoors and enjoy the spring heat as well as the rest of you BUT instead I'm forced to only dream of it from the wrong side of my bedroom window - Not fair AT ALL !

But it's not all bad after all, I am, somehow, in a very inspiring mood at the moment which is making me wanna paint a lot, and that's exactly what I'm doing ! Last night I sort of finished my Bono - painting, I still got two more left but it is starting to actually look like them now..
My next project is to make a painting on a smaller wooden "pannå" - not something I usually would paint on but it's unfortunately the only thing I had left so, a nice change. I don't know what it's gonna be yet, but I'm thinking some sort of a portrait, time will tell ...

Picture will be posted when I have something worthwhile showing !

Easter Eve !

I woke up with a cold this morning, arghh, I felt the symptoms last night already but was hoping for the best,..-Just my luck ! I've already consumed THREE cups of tea with honey and my head is like ten times heavier than usual ! STUPID COLD ! It's so typical when it's all nice and sunny outside..Please, please, make it go away ! I AM gonna pull myself together later and take a walk while it's still sunny outside, I'll go nuts otherwize..

I'm starting to feel that whenever I am refurnituring my room, it's because of an inner control issue with the need of a changing of the surroundings, since I can't figure out the actual issue. But by moving around the furnitures, at least I can take control of something..Very annoying, but it's become more or less of a pattern...weirdo, sicko, retardooo. And this makes me sound like a complete controlfreak - which I'm NOT !

I'm so tired I can't sleep, but I can't stay awake. TIRED OF LIFE !
And can it please stop being so windy ? I can't afford being blown away..mohohha.
